Melissa Miller
Fitness Coach
From an early age, sports and fitness have been a very important part of my life. As a child, I was extremely active, whether it was playing in the backyard, playing a game of street hockey or playing competitive sports.
My passion for sports and fitness led me to Brock University, graduating with a Bachelor of Physical Education (Honours) and a year later a Bachelor of Education. As a member of the varsity ice hockey team, I was given the opportunity to volunteer at various sports camps where I was able to share and pass along my passion for sports and fitness to other people. This led me to a career in teaching.
I have been a high school physical education teacher for the last 14 years where I aim to instill my passion for living a healthy lifestyle to both the staff and students at the school and everyone that I come into contact with.

I have been fortunate enough to gather world class experience and training and I get satisfaction from being able to pass on that knowledge to the people I work with.
I live a healthy lifestyle by remaining active and using nutrition to fuel my body. I am currently a member of Team Canada Ball Hockey. I have been a member of the Canadian team since 2013, earning 4 gold medals and 1 silver at the World Championships. I was an assistant coach on the U-20 Girls Team Canada Ball Hockey team in 2018 which won the gold medal in Nitra, Slovakia. I am currently still a member on Team Canada in addition to being the head coach/general manager of the U-20 girls team.
I look forward to empowering you along on your journey, no matter where your starting point might be.
